Why Network Marketing?

It is important to understand what you are being asked to get in to and Network Marketing is no exception. 

As an industry it is now one of the most successful in the world with names like Avon, Amway, Herbalife, 5Linx & Forever Living Products leading the way. Having been around now for over 40 years, Network Marketing is clearly here to stay!

Traditionally, there are two ways of earning money, linear and residual. Linear is the most common method. You clock on and clock off and you get paid. You have a boss and stringent working hours. You have an hourly or daily rate and that's pretty much it. Yes there is overtime and sometimes sick pay and holiday pay, but generally if you are not at work you don't get paid.

The other option is residual, the hallmark of Network Marketing. Income is earned by selling/offering/sharing a product or service. You then building a team of like minded people who duplicate your effort. This produces a 'downline' of activity that can happen at any time of the day or night, producing this residual income. It is also not conditional on you working, your work is done encouraging your team to duplicate, duplicate, duplicate. Support is always there, continuous and ongoing as it is everyone's vested interest that you succeed. 

Now the reality! 

• People join network marketing thinking it is a 'get rich quick' scheme, 
• they sit at home and wait for people to contact them, 
• they do not embrace the support that is available, 
• they do not use training (tried & trusted) plans. 
• They then leave and tell everyone that Network Marketing is c***. 

If only they had expended that energy sharing the opportunity with them instead of dissing it!!
